Customer bathrooms: Traditional With a Modern Twist

Modern Meets Traditional in Kay’s Bathroom
INSTALLED & SHARED BY @ULTIMATEWETROOMS
We’re back with our latest case study to inspire you. We have two bathrooms from the same customer, both a gorgeous fusion of modern and traditional styling, belonging to Kay, who has lived at her property for almost 8 years with her partner and two children.
Kay explained that her property is over 350 years old and when she moved in the bathrooms were not very practical for her family needs. As the house holds a lot of history she wanted to keep an element of traditional bathroom styling but also incorporate a modern side to bring her bathrooms back to life. She purchased her bathroom with Easy Bathrooms Birstall and used a registered trade customer of theirs for her installation - Ultimate Wetrooms who shared the projects on their social media accounts.
Bathroom Number 1
A fun mix of colours, patterns and finishes, this bathroom has a bright electric aesthetic. Featuring our Arundel Grey Floorstanding Vanity Unit which brings a touch of traditional style to the bathroom as well as some essential bathroom storage space. The unit is complemented beautifully by our Victorian inspired Aramean Pattern Tiles which include an array of motifs. These porcelain tiles can be fitted to the walls or floor and provide timeless styling.

Wall mounted to the side is the contemporary Jenka Anthracite Heated Towel Rail which features unique hangers providing plenty of towel space whilst also delivering excellent heat output. This bathroom radiator is available in a choice of sizes and more colour options.
The shower area features our classic white metro tiles which are perfect for a fresh finish whilst also enhancing the traditional look. The room is finished beautifully with our period inspired Grosvenor traditional bathroom taps. Kay’s Canary yellow bath tub was not purchased from Easy Bathrooms, however you can easily achieve this look with our bath paint service!

Bathroom number 2
Kay’s second bathroom features the Elsa Modern Square Freestanding Bath sitting centre stage, alongside Kay’s “wine shelf”, she described this as her favourite part of her new bathroom. We’re personally impressed with the open shower area behind!
A stand out feature for this grand bathroom is the patterned floor tiles which are the vintage inspired Fired Blue Star Tiles with distressed styling giving a rustic yet traditional finish.

Bringing the modern vibe to this bathroom is the popular Ellis white bathroom furniture range. With smooth lines and integrated handles the wall hung vanity unit and tall storage unit bring minimalist styling to the room as well as a wealth of bathroom storage.
The bathroom is complete with the Stonehouse LED bathroom mirror and crisp Zena modern chrome taps.

Kay and her partner are extremely happy with both bathrooms and their final comments - “The staff at Easy Bathrooms were really helpful and friendly. There’s plenty of choice with very reasonable prices”.
