Meet the Team: Customer Services Manager

Meet the Team
HEAD OF CUSTOMER SERVICES - LYDIA 

What does your day to day involve?
In total I oversee 5 departments; customer service, returns, technical support, spares department and finally trade sales. Generally i take care of escalated complaints and investigate product issues, looking to resolve these with our factories where possible. I thoroughly enjoy my varied role and im constantly looking for ways to improve our overall service.

What would you say is the most challenging aspect of your role?
Keeping everyone happy! My role spans some of the most customer-focused and busiest departments, every day is a challenge to ensure my staff are working well and have the tools and support they need to carry out their roles.

Where are you originally from?
I was born down south and originally grew up in Surrey.

What was your first ever job?
I think a paper round when I was in school. After school my first 'real' job when I started college was working in a call centre for a local fleet management company, dealing with car incidents on the motorways.

What’s your favourite Easy Bathrooms product?
I love the colour and softness of our matt finished Ellis grey vanity unit, the whole bathroom furniture range is fab.

How is your bathroom styled?
It's not! Although I love the products we sell, we went very basic in our own bathroom with a mixture of grey and some splashes of colour. I'm more about family life and fun colours than stylish design.

What are your main goals at Easy Bathrooms for the next five years?
My focus for the foreseeable future is to continue to improve our services in all of my departments and across the showrooms. Achieve more efficient, clearer policies for customers and staff with more direct after-sales options. We are in the middle of changing some systems which will massively improve our customer experience and provide more onsite support for installers and DIY’ers.

Do you have any pets?
Currently have 2 rescued cats although definitely more of a dog person. 

Tell us something interesting or unique about yourself
I'm a secret artist, I love drawing and painting to relax when I'm not at work.
