Meet the Team: Sale Showroom Manager

After the store being open for only three months, our Sale, Manchester showroom manager answers our ten questions about work and a little about his personal life...

Name: Johnathan Todd

Position: Manager at our bathroom and tile showroom in Sale, Manchester.

1. How long have you worked at Easy Bathrooms?

I have been with Easy bathrooms for four months now and I am really enjoying the challenge of opening and running a brand-new store.

2. Tell us a bit more about your day-to-day role?

My working day always starts with a cup - or two - of coffee, whilst I review the previous day and plan for the day ahead. I make sure my team are ready for any home measures and design appointments due that day.

The rest of the day is then spent making sure the showroom is kept to a good standard and that all of our customers are looked after. Our aim is to make sure each and every customer has the best experience.

3. What’s the favourite part of your position?

That’s an easy one, I love the interaction with my staff and customers, having fun makes the day pass so much quicker.

4. Do you have a biggest achievement in work?

Opening our fully tiled showroom just two weeks after getting the keys. We have a truly great shop fitting team, who worked so hard to get it completed and it looks absolutely amazing!

5. Your favourite bathroom trend of 2020?

I really love the industrial style. My favourite are the concrete-effect tiles, like our Fabrika range, completed with black accessories.

7. What advice would you give someone renovating their bathroom?

Make sure you speak to your fitter throughout the design and installation process. The more contact you have with them the better.

Make sure they know what you have bought and where you want it and don’t be afraid to be specific - after all it is your bathroom.

8. What one word would your colleagues use to describe you?

Fun

9. When you’re not at work, what would we catch you doing?

I love chilling out and relaxing with my wife and our dog, either watching a TV series or a movie. When I'm not doing that you will find me on my Xbox.
