BAL Waterproof 1C is a ready to use straight out of the tub, rapid setting one coat waterproofing tanking system for indoor areas.
Simply apply this waterproofing system with a brush, trowel or roller – no mixing is required. This one coat waterproofing can be used without priming on certain backgrounds and provides crack bridging without tape on static cracks or board joints up to 3mm. Fibre strand technology improves strength and after just 2 hours your surface may be tiled upon.
This rapid setting waterproofing is perfect for any domestic shower, bathroom or wetroom. Providing complete protection against water ingress.
BAL Primer 1C is a rapid drying primer that helps to reduce porosity and stabilise backgrounds. Designed to be used prior to BAL Waterproof 1C. Apply to plaster, fibre cement boards or BAL board. It offers rapid drying in as little as 15 minutes it wont slow the job down. This BAL primer is red in colour, ensuring coverage is easy to see, apply with a brush, roller or sponge. Undiluted this primer typically delivers 6m² of coverage.

• BAL Self-Adhesive Scrim Tape, 5cm x 20m
Please Note;
• One neat coat of BAL Primer 1C is required on all tile backer boards and plaster (remember new plaster needs to be minimum 3 weeks old)
• Apply self-adhesive BAL Scrim Tape at wall & floor junctions, all internal/external corners of walls and partitions, pipe penetration points, drainage channels and outlets and all cracks and board joints over 3mm wide.

Your delivery cost will vary depending on the size & weight of the items within your basket. All orders are delivered on our own fleet of Easy Bathrooms vans or with a carefully selected external carrier if we can’t make the delivery ourselves. We offer select a day delivery so you can choose a specific delivery date where you can ensure you’ll be home to receive your order. Once at the checkout, you’ll be presented with a calendar to book in your chosen delivery date.
Next Day Delivery
Orders must be placed before 11.30am to qualify for next day delivery (excludes weekends & bank holidays). Terms and conditions apply.
Standard delivery
With standard delivery you can expect your items within 3 to 5 working days (excludes weekends & bank holidays).
Collection
You can always collect from one of our showrooms nationwide. We do charge a small collection fee for larger orders large items and some very large items are excluded. If your order is eligible for collection, you'll see the option at checkout along with the next available collection date.
Returns
When purchasing online you have up to 30 days to return items from the day after you received delivery. Excludes tiles, selected brands & perishable goods. Items can be returned directly to our warehouse at your own cost. Or you can return items to any of our nationwide showrooms. Bathroom Installation
We have found the design and sales team at the Hemel Hempstead store knowledgeable and patient throughout. In addition, the installation team took all precautions to protect our carpets and home prior to a professional installation, discussing the final finish throughout. The only area we feel they could look to improve on is the continuity of the involvement of the store where we placed the order. They were no longer involved once the installation was commenced, which we felt uncomfortable with. This does not distract from how pleased we are with the final job and would recommend them and would readily use them again.
