- Truro Accessible Bath 1700 x 800mm
Product Details
The Truro Accessible Bath makes bathing easier for those who struggle with their mobility.
This high quality bath is made from durable fully formed acrylic, and it features a practical glass door for easy access, changing the climb into the bath in to a much easier single step. This bath can also be lowered to give an ultra-low threshold of 80mm, for even easier access.
How does the door work?
The door folds into the bath allowing wide access, it is operated electronically by a touch button and an indicator light shows when the door is closed and the bath is fully sealed ready to be filled. A water sensor ensures the door remains inactive until water has passed below a certain level, avoiding any accidents. The electronic box controlling the door sits neatly and discreetly at the end of the bath for easy access. Just incase, in the event of power failure there is a fitted battery pack supported by an audible alarm.
Choosing your bath
Simply select left handed or right handed for your bath, this determines which side the door sits at. (The main image shows a right handed bath).
Choosing your bath screen
A bath screen is optional. It is universal so it will fit both the left or right handed bath. You will need a bath screen if you also plan to shower in the bath.
Choosing your front and end bath panels
For both the front and end bath panel there is a choice between white gloss panels, black gloss panels or Styrene panels. Simply select the options which matche the bath you have chosen, left or right handed.
Choosing your waste
A waste is required, you have a choice between a Standard lever pop up waste or a Lever overflow filler which includes the waste.
Choose the standard Lever pop up waste if you wish to use standard taps with this bath.
If you choose the Lever overflow filler this will fill the bath from the overflow, instead of using taps and a spout, you would then need to purchase concealed valves to control the water. When choosing concealed valves there is a choice of single, double or triple valves. Single valves will control only the bath filler, double valves can control the filler and also a shower and triple valves will control the filler and two shower heads if you choose.
Optional Thermostat
The Thermostat works to regulate the temperature of your water supply. This is ideal fro preventing scalding as you can set a maximum temperature and the water supply will not exceed this. This is an optional extra, however if the bath is required for commercial use this needs to be included.
