Customer Bathroom: Show Stopper

When Heather and Luke Adams decided to update their bathroom, they chose to work with Easy Bathrooms to create a wow factor in their space.

Their dated bathroom was formerly a separate WC and shower room, which the couple modernised by knocking into one. They also enlarged the size of the room by extending it slightly into their landing area. Using a new layout, they have maximised the space of the bathroom, which is now perfect for both relaxing on their own and when it comes to bath-time for their little girl.

With their heart set on a spa-like environment, but with minimal natural light streaming through the original windows, they made a conscious effort to avoid dark colours.

A calming, white marble-effect tile was chosen, which they installed across the floor and halfway up all four of the walls to protect them from water splashes. For a similar option, try our La Bella White Marble Hexagon ceramic tiles or the Marble Blanco ceramic tile

A focal point was created of the floorstanding Ellis vanity unit, which they went for in matte white, for a contemporary, on-trend finish. They chose the unit because of the deep expanse of the two drawers – perfect for storing their little girl’s toys and their own bathroom products. Our Santino Hollywood LED bathroom mirror sits above the unit, to add a touch of glamour to the space.

Choosing to tie together the bathroom storage, they also opted for a matte white tall cabinet out of the Ellis range of bathroom furniture. They were attracted to the cupboard because of the two doors and internal glass shelving system, which can be adjusted in height to suit their needs.

Standing proudly in the middle of their bathroom, is none other than the silver Eton freestanding bath. The couple – and their little girl – love a good soak and a splash at the end of the day, so a bath was a vital component of their new bathroom. They went for the Eton bath after spotting it on Instagram and instantly falling in love.

The silver aspect of the bath reflects light – creating the illusion of space – and has a distressed finish, which adds to its character. They have finished off the bath with our Zena black bath/shower mixer tap, bringing a designer touch to the room.

With an angular design, the black tap is bang on-trend and is perfectly-matches the Zena black basin tap they chose.

The designer look and feel is continued in their installation of the Rayner radiator, which they chose because of the open-ended panels, making it easy to put on and remove towels.

The end result is a bathroom which works perfectly for their needs, without a single compromise on design.
